Scrum
is a project management methodology that uses short cycles of timeboxed work.
The process is broken down into three areas: the sprint, the sprint review, and
the sprint retrospective. Sprints are periodized; the work you perform during a
sprint is called a sprint. At the end of a sprint, you perform a sprint review,
allowing you to examine the sprint’s results. Finally, you perform a sprint
retrospective, reviewing the work done in the previous sprint and identifying
areas for improvement during future sprints.
