Advanced Certified Scrum Master Training

What is a Certified Scrum Master?

Certified Scrum Masters (CSMs) are individuals who have gone through an intensive training course to help individuals, teams, and organizations bring tangible business value to their projects and programs. Scrum Masters help the teams in a Scrum project to be empowered, to take initiative, and to work together more effectively by providing the expertise, guidance, and tools needed for the team to be successful.

A Scrum Master is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors required to lead a Scrum Team and to facilitate Scrum ceremonies. A Certified Scrum Master is a role model for the Scrum Team as well as for the organization. The Certified Scrum Master credential is a subset of the Certified Scrum Product Owner credential.

Scrum is a framework that supports an agile process. It is one of the most valuable formulas for creating and sustaining new products. It is used primarily in the software industry, but the same principles can be applied to other areas of business.

A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is more than just another type of project manager. The CSM helps ensure that teams adhere to the Scrum methodology, which is an Agile framework for managing projects by using the time-boxed, incremental process of creating a product in short cycles of time.
The Scrum framework consists of the following elements:

1.  a set of core values

2.  a process to create and manage short, sprints of work

3.  a facilitator (Scrum Master)

 4.  a set of rules

 5.  a process for running the teams

 6.  a product to work on.

Scrum Masters and Product Owners guide a product development team through the product lifecycle and ensure the team is delivering the desired resultsScrum is considered to be one of the most productive Agile methods, and it stands for “Shorter Development Cycles with frequent delivery of working software.” Scrum Masters are responsible for the people and processes that guarantee the success of the product development process. These people include, but are not limited to, developers, testers, business analysts and technical stakeholders.
